March Already?

Really. It's already March. It feels like it was just Christmas! Anyway, Here are some family pictures we got done a while back ( just realized that I didn't include any of us adults, oh well):

And here is what it is really like to take family pictures with two kids under two:

My three favorite boys :)

Birthdays!

So Isaac's birthday is Christmas, and Nate's birthday is January 8th, which is two weeks after Christmas! We celebrated Isaac's birthday a week later (I don't know if that is how we will always do it, but thats how we did it this year).

I made Nate a Reese's ice cream cake with brownies on the bottom-I thought it was good! Except it's melting in the picture.

I just had to slip this one in because I thought it was so cute. Their first time in a cart together at Costco! They did pretty good for the first ten minutes, it went downhill after that :)

I borrowed a car cake mold from a friend, and Isaac loved it! He didn't see the mistakes and messy details, he just knew it was a car and thought that was awesome. He had a runny nose forever-in case you are wondering why his face is all red around his nose.

PS-any suggestions for how to do Isaac's birthday since it is on Christmas?

Christmas!

Was Christmas really a month ago already? (almost) We had a fun Christmas/Isaac's birthday. This is Christmas morning after opening presents:

Of course Isaac, who got lots of presents, is playing with one of the few toys Luke got for Christmas! Isaac understood Christmas this year-we told him Santa was coming and bringing gifts and on Christmas morning and he remembered! He came running into our room asking to go downstairs. He also learned about baby Jesus and the real reason for the season-just want to put that out there too!

We went up to Pinetop with Nate's family right before Christmas for a family reunion-it was fun to play in the snow! Isaac actually liked sledding with Nate :) I was surprised.

Halloween

Halloween was a blast this year! We went trick or treating around our neighborhood with Isaac and he caught on right away, so he had a nice pile of candy by the end of the night. We also went to a kids party during the day which was fun, so he was hopped up on candy and sweets but was such a cute little construction worker. Luke was super man, and didn't make it very far out the door before falling asleep!

Life and Things

We are in the house! So, moving into a house is a lot more work than I ever dreamed it would be, especially fixing it up, painting, and unpacking. Isaac is sleeping through the night again though which makes things a lot easier (yes, I said Isaac). But we love the house! So much space to work with and projects to begin, I don't know where to start! Here are some updates as to what we have been up to:

I purposefully put Tupperware in a low cabinet in the kitchen :)

Luke is getting so stinkin cute and fun, we are having fun seeing his personality come out more and more.

Isaac and Luke are just starting to pay attention to each other, so Isaac is good at making Luke laugh and keeping him happy.

We went to a fun pumpkin patch, oh and I think the weather was in the triple digits that day, which was October 15th! That has to be a record. I recommend going to a pumpkin patch in cooler weather, but it was still fun!

One of Nate's favorite things to do: Attend and watch UA basketball!

Home Sweet Home

Can I just say that the process of buying a house is probably the least fun thing I have ever done?!

Two Kids :)

So our good friend took some newborn pictures of Luke a while back, I just love the one of him smiling :) So overall, having two kids is easier than I thought it was going to be. I guess I was assuming it would be much worse. It might be easier than I thought because Luke is such a good baby though. Seriously an angel baby... except for sleeping through the night, which we will soon be working on! Isaac is much more demanding of my time and energy during the day, but he is so fun. He LOVES trucks and cars and anything with wheels (a little obsessed), and loves anything with chocolate (gets that from his dad). We are kind of in LIMBO right now because Nate started his new job, but we are not in our house yet, and we have to be out of our apartment soon (we're moving cities and buying a house). Which is why I haven't posted in a while and probably won't be posting until after we're settled in the house!
