Christmas and Isaac's Birthday

This year, there was only 3 weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas.  It just flew by, I didn't realize what a difference one week would make! We had so much fun though. Every year I tell myself to start earlier the next year, maybe next year will be the year I will actually have all the presents wrapped before Christmas Eve! We are lucky, we live close to both of our families. So, we get to spend most holidays with our families. We had lots of fun doing our traditional holiday activities in December - making gingerbread houses, putting up our tree, attending holiday parties, looking at Christmas lights, acting out the nativity scene, etc. 

Nate's work party was 1930's themed, it was fun to dress up!

I came across this picture of my sisters and I as part of a gift I was putting together for my dad. Love those bowl haircuts.

We were so happy to be able to go to Nate's brother Matt and Ariana's wedding/sealing at the Mesa Temple just before Christmas! It was a freezing day, but we are so excited for them!

The Sunday before Christmas - I took like 20 pictures, and this was the only good one. I love how this is such a typical picture of them.

We had a family birthday party for Isaac at Peter Piper Pizza. He wanted a chocolate snake cake. He had so much fun and loved all the attention :) Oh, and he really wanted to wear his safari shirt.

Family Pictures

So, it's been a while. Longer than I anticipated! After Halloween, Nate and I celebrated our 6th anniversary, I can't believe its been 6 years already! I have the best husband ever, I am so happy when I get to spend time with him. I surprised him with a date night on our anniversary - we went to eat downtown at the Hub. It was so delicious and fun. Do we look a lot different now verses then? They had this huge lit up sign right next to the Hub and it was too cool to not take a picture. 

We had family pictures taken in November by my friend Megan - she did a fantastic job! She has a photography blog at snaphappymom.com One of these days I will get a camera and Megan and her blog will teach me how to use it! I love love love how our family pictures turned out.

On November 26th, my Grandmother Janis passed away. She was one of the sweetest people I have ever known. I miss her so much, but I am so glad to know that I will see her again someday. Wasn't she beautiful?
