Halloween

Halloween was a blast this year! We went trick or treating around our neighborhood with Isaac and he caught on right away, so he had a nice pile of candy by the end of the night. We also went to a kids party during the day which was fun, so he was hopped up on candy and sweets but was such a cute little construction worker. Luke was super man, and didn't make it very far out the door before falling asleep!

Life and Things

We are in the house! So, moving into a house is a lot more work than I ever dreamed it would be, especially fixing it up, painting, and unpacking. Isaac is sleeping through the night again though which makes things a lot easier (yes, I said Isaac). But we love the house! So much space to work with and projects to begin, I don't know where to start! Here are some updates as to what we have been up to:

I purposefully put Tupperware in a low cabinet in the kitchen :)

Luke is getting so stinkin cute and fun, we are having fun seeing his personality come out more and more.

Isaac and Luke are just starting to pay attention to each other, so Isaac is good at making Luke laugh and keeping him happy.

We went to a fun pumpkin patch, oh and I think the weather was in the triple digits that day, which was October 15th! That has to be a record. I recommend going to a pumpkin patch in cooler weather, but it was still fun!

One of Nate's favorite things to do: Attend and watch UA basketball!

Home Sweet Home

Can I just say that the process of buying a house is probably the least fun thing I have ever done?!

Two Kids :)

So our good friend took some newborn pictures of Luke a while back, I just love the one of him smiling :) So overall, having two kids is easier than I thought it was going to be. I guess I was assuming it would be much worse. It might be easier than I thought because Luke is such a good baby though. Seriously an angel baby... except for sleeping through the night, which we will soon be working on! Isaac is much more demanding of my time and energy during the day, but he is so fun. He LOVES trucks and cars and anything with wheels (a little obsessed), and loves anything with chocolate (gets that from his dad). We are kind of in LIMBO right now because Nate started his new job, but we are not in our house yet, and we have to be out of our apartment soon (we're moving cities and buying a house). Which is why I haven't posted in a while and probably won't be posting until after we're settled in the house!

Baby Luke

So Isaac and I have been partying it up this summer (before Luke was born that is) and this is a picture of Isaac at a pool party we went to..

A different day at the pool..

And then Luke was born on June 20th at 8:52pm, he was 7lbs 1oz and 20 inches long! We were not really planning on being induced, we kept going back and forth, but they called in the morning on the 20th and we decided to go in at 9:00am. It seemed to me like the day crawled by, they didn't break my water until 3pm. I got an epidural before they broke my water, then the doctor was busy with a different patient so I had to wait an extra hour or so, but when the doctor finally came in I started pushing and he was out in 3 pushes! And I also didn't need any stitches, which was awesome! The recovery process has been 10x faster and I have felt so much better so much sooner than I did last time. We are all still adjusting to having Luke around (especially Isaac) but he is a good little baby and we are so happy he is finally here!

Memorial Day

Whew! Nate's first big break after busy season, this past weekend sure was nice. We visited family, went on a date, went garage saling, visited friends, went on a hike, etc. We packed a lot in! Isaac had fun playing in the sprinkler..

So this is what he did when we told him to smile (??).

He leans over, tips his head, and smiles, I really have

no idea where he came up with that one :)

His cousins :). Coolest Cars couch ever apparently.

My Little Chocoholic

Here is a really bad (sorry) belly shot at 35 weeks. I need to try harder at pregnancy pictures, I know, and the t-shirt does not do my big belly justice.

Pictures

So a while back.. We took Isaac to get some pictures taken. We ended up waiting around for a couple of hours because the place was busy and the picture taking even took a while. We have a friend, Jamie Harper, who takes pictures and she took these, and some other ones, of Isaac in about 5 minutes and they turned out way better than our previous pictures! We love them! And those are real ducks btw..

And for some other really late news for those of you who don't already know:

We are having another baby! We found out back in November, and we found out that IT'S A BOY in February! So we are excited for baby #2! This time around I was much less nauseous so that was nice. And right now I am 30 weeks and my due date is June 20th. I have a feeling I might be late again.. But who knows!

Holidays

I feel like every time I post, I post about something that happened like a month ago, but I guess that is pretty good blogging for me anyway. So for Christmas we were at home Christmas Eve and Christmas morning, then we went and visited with my family here, and then went down to Tucson to visit with Nate's family. Then, we headed up to my dad's little cabin in Happyjack and got snowed in (for a day)! There was no snow on the ground when we got to the cabin, and two days later there was like two feet! That kind of messed up our skiing/snowboarding plans but it was still a lot of fun. So in the pictures below, Isaac is helping Nate put together the end table we got for Christmas! He thought he was helping anyway..

This is when we went outside and played in the snow when it was like an inch deep. It was still freezing though, like 20 degrees, which us cold for us arizona folks.

Isaac didn't really like touching the snow, but he liked being outside, and we didn't really have the right clothes for him so he mostly has a ton of layers on.

This is pictures of the snow after it was really deep. You can barely see our car! Also, the shovel was locked in the shed, for which we had no key, so Nate went and dug out our car and the driveway with a sled and a dustpan. Seriously.. He was sore for a while after that.
