Family Fun

 So recently, our friends were nice enough to invite us to Raytheon day at Breakers = way less crowded! It is a small water park but was super fun. They have these huge grass areas all over the park, which makes it so nice to relax with the kids when they're past tired, hence the picture.

 Isaac really enjoyed the kids pool, but wouldn't go down any of the slides. Luke enjoyed the water too after it started to get warmer, it was a little cold when we first arrived in the morning! 

We also recently took a family vacation! We haven't been on a trip since Nate graduated, it was so-o time. We hit up Sea World, Disneyland, and (of course) the BEACH! Both of the boys LOVED the beach, Luke mostly ate sand and Isaac played in the waves. 

 The beach is probably my favorite place, it's just so beautiful and relaxing, and so much fun for all ages! Not to mention wallet-friendly. When we first arrived, it was pretty cold and cloudy, so I was worried the weather would stay like that all day, but we were lucky - the sun came out and it warmed right up!

 Luckily, we went with some friends to Sea World and Disneyland so we were able to ride most of the rides - we just kept swapping kids! If you didn't know, Disneyland has this swap pass (best thing ever!) where one set of parents wait in line and go on the ride, and then when they get out the other parents get to go through the fast pass lane, which is a much shorter wait! You just have to make sure and get the swap pass from one of the workers before you wait in line. And both sets of parents have to be there to get the swap pass.

 Isaac liked most of the rides he went on, I think his favorite was the jungle cruise. Surprisingly, he did fine on the Pirates of the Carribean (which is a little bit scary) but was terrified on the Buzz Lightyear ride, which I thought he would love! Overall, it was so fun, but with such young kids, I highly recommend going with friends or family - otherwise we wouldn't have been able to go on any of the big rides.

The fridge in our hotel room was, apparently, very interesting.  

I think Sea World was Isaac's favorite. Before this trip, Isaac was really into anything ocean related, especially sharks with their ShArP TeEtH :) Sea World has an awesome kids park with a big jungle gym, sand box (which Luke enjoyed) splash pad, and some kids rides.
